GSA Seeks Feedback on New Contractor Performance Metrics
Hey everyone,
Have you ever wondered how the government chooses its contractors? Well, the General Services Administration (GSA) is working on a new rule to make things more transparent. They’re thinking about publicly posting contractor performance metrics on their eCommerce platforms!
What does this mean?
Basically, the GSA wants to share information about how well contractors are doing. This includes things like:
- Delivery times: How quickly do contractors get your stuff to you?
- Data quality: Is the information they provide accurate and reliable?
- Customer reviews: What do other customers think of their service?
By sharing this information, the GSA hopes to:
- Boost competition: Encourage contractors to improve their services to attract more customers.
- Enhance transparency: Give customers more information to make informed decisions.
- Improve customer satisfaction: Help customers find reliable and efficient contractors.
How can you get involved?
The GSA is currently seeking feedback from both customers and contractors. They want to hear your thoughts on:
- Which metrics should be included?
- Should access to the metrics be restricted to registered users?
To provide feedback, you can submit comments through the Federal Register. The deadline for comments is November 22nd.
Let’s make a difference!
By sharing your feedback, you can help shape the future of government contracting. Let’s work together to make sure we’re getting the best possible service from our contractors.
